Our Story

I started Blackthorn Leather a little over ten years ago. Back then it was a way for me to unplug literally and mentally from my day job (graphic design) and focus on a completely raw, analog creative outlet and work with my hands. After all these years it’s still a passion of mine and I look forward to spending my day creating quality products for you.

Blackthorn Leather goods are made in an old world inspired style that look as if they have a lifetime of stories to tell.

All Blackthorn Leather bags, wallets and accessories are made from high quality leathers, durable hardware, and built to last. A lot of care goes into every piece, often with hand stitched details, for a truly great finish.

We are located just outside Los Angeles, California in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. Coyotes, skunks, and raccoons often swing by to see what's doing around the shop. (Okay, not really but they do make an appearance on occasion.)
