My name is Andy. I make everything that is Blackthorn Leather right here in my small shop. I’ve always been a maker at heart and love turning raw materials into something tangible and so I like to call my goods functional art. I chose the name Blackthorn as I have a fondness for trees and forests stemming from my early childhood spent in Oregon. It also ties in with my Irish heritage and my love for all things Celtic. Thank you all for following my leather journey and I look forward to making something for you!
